Awaken Studio Has a New Look!

Two thousand eighteen has been a big year for Awaken Studio, and we’re just getting started. In two short months, we’ve sought and found inspiration while watching Costa Rican sunsets, adorned our brand new Manhattan office with it’s first potted plant, and worked together to create a new look and feel for “Awaken 2.0”. By the time you read this, the branding will be live on our new and improved site….and we couldn’t be happier. But first, a quick look into our process and why we knew it was time to shake things up.

As a new company, Awaken Studio’s website did its job: it showed us off as a professional and modern design agency….but not much more. With two years of massive growth, our forth employee officially onboard, and a new office to call home, we decided that it was the perfect time to re-brand. That, and our project manager Chelsey was getting married in Costa Rica! We moved the studio to the beach for a month to catch the wedding and skip the cold of January in New York. Inspired by pacific sunsets, and a steady flow of Costa Rican coffee, we were ready to dive headfirst into our new look.

The hours in our beachside office paid off and gave us the space we needed to reflect on who we are as a company, and the time to create a visual brand that truly felt like “us.” A vivid new color palette and fun geometric patterns combines with new messaging that clearly communicates our personable but professional approach, while pops of green and tropical plants give a nod to the tropical setting where the new branding was born. This time around, it was important for us that visitors feel a connection to Awaken Studio and the type of websites we create. The Our Work page highlights past clients web design projects and gives a deeper insight into their goals and how we helped achieve them. Little touches like a newsletter signup and featured Instagram feed help us stay connected and build relationships while our About page paints a picture of what it’s like to work with us...and what sets us apart.
